Signs of Scams or Hacking

Have you allowed a third party to operate your computer remotely?

You may have been asked to follow a link and install some software, allowing them to operate your computer remotely.

If yes, don't panic. Turn your computer off.

Your computer is probably infected with malware or a virus and vulnerable to further attacks.

But don't worry, this can be easily fixed. Call David on 0430 634 991. We'll have your computer cleaned quickly.

Have you given out your credit card or bank details to someone when you are not 100% sure who they are?

They may say they are from a telecommunications company, like Telstra or an internet service provider.

Turn your computer off, then call your bank as soon as possible.

Explain what has happened. The bank will put a hold on your card/account to stop any further fraudulent transactions.

If no fraudulent transactions are found, they may remove the hold on your card. Alternatively, they will issue you a new card.

Your bank will probably recommend you contact someone like us to clean your computer of malware and viruses.
